- Just for grins I peered in misc.forsale.memory and searched for "64"
- and it appears that AST (PC) computers used 64 pin simms and there are
- people trading these. Unfortunately most of the simms were 80ns
- (my GVP 1230 Turbo seems to want 60ns).
-
- Anyway, does anyone know if (aside from speed issues) these AST SIMMS
- are pin compatible with the GVP 64 pin slots ? Has anyone used these?
-
- The reason I'm asking is that GVP memory is expensive and hard to come by.
-
- Also I've seen ads for 30<->72 pin adapters for for memory, are there any
- 64<->72 pin adapters around ?
